In respect of proposals for insurance made through the iprism system, only convictions that are unspent should be declared - there should be no reference to a conviction which is spent under the terms of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.

Should your client be in any doubt as to whether a conviction is spent, they can access an online tool provided by The National Association of Reformed Offenders (Unlock), which will provide guidance at www.disclosurecalculator.org.uk.
