Each year, Iprism awards community grants to local community projects and small charities that are close to the hearts of our employees. Our most recent grant has been given to a project that our Commercial New Business Team Manager, Alfie Richardson, is proud to support.
S.M.I.L.E London & Essex supports low-income and disadvantaged families with daily essentials, to help alleviate poverty and reduce social isolation. The charity supports 26 family hostels throughout London & Essex with targeted appeals as well as general clothing and toiletries.
The Iprism grant has allowed the charity to buy vital pantry items to be given to those in need. Recently, the number of members to S.M.I.L.E’s community pantry has doubled, and with the current cost of living crisis, they predict this number to get increasingly higher.
